I respectfully disagree. Ascend Communications is a perfect example of what happens when management gives in to the temptation to engage in excessive cheerleading. It is now just another broken-down former momentum stock.

Mr. Abelmann is doing a good job of navigating in a market that it is at the upper range of historical valuations. As Allen Benn has argued, management should avoid a situation where investors feel forced to sell the stock due to extreme valuation.
