Barron's ran an online article late yesterday in which they mentioned that Blackstone had made an SEC filing indicating they had purchased a more than 5% stake in (SQNM). It appears that Blackstone has been active in the biotech area recently as they also filed a 7% position in (ACOR) and a 7.14% new position in (ARQL). In addition, Omega Fund filed a 6.05% position in (MITI). Maybe this activity, from the big boys, is giving some support to the biotech arena. Robert..my game plan is just hold my position and let the leaders come to me. (:>) There must be a mistake........me on the board after one month into the contest....must be my Euro hedging flip-flops. I did have some nice moves in a couple of my European positions, but with their market closing before our late swoon yesterday....Monday will probably get me back into the real world.
