jg-My biggest problem with the Stones is that after "Exhile on Main Street", arguably one of the greatest records ever made, this band never took a risk again. Every record after "Exhile" was a formulaic remake.

Unlike the Grateful Dead (w/Jerry of course), the Stones are not a Live band. Mick's voice is unintelligible and his band cannot play looseness against tightness (this is control) the way the Dead could.

I would rather my kids (if I ever have any) watch old clips of Mick and the Stones when they appeared on T.V. or the Rock & Roll Circus when the band's music and vocals had intention instead of meaningless chaos. This tour is a big bloated corporate marketing vehicle. Gimme Shelter from this type of experience.
