So in your fantasy world, the best way to come up with technological breakthroughs is to starve them of investment capital and magically believe that they will appear out of thin air. More of your magical thinking. I believe in investing in this country's future with cold hard cash instead of nation building for the Iraqis and Afghanis and spending $2 trillion to find a man in a cave in the Middle East. Unfortunately, the neocons and GOP are more in favor of wasting money finding cavemen, than in investing in this country. That's why we vote them out of office.
