Suggestion: Let's Move the KSM Trial to Washington, DC or Detroit January 29, 2010

RUSH: The KSM trial. You know, this is funny. When Holder first announced this, remember, now; he said (paraphrased), "I'm doing this. The president didn't know. It was my decision totally." Obama said, "It was his decision. I'm all for it. We want a show trial up there, 'cause what we really want to do is have some international tribunals charge Bush and Cheney officials with high crimes and misdemeanors in an international court for war crimes." Mayor Bloomberg said, "Yeah! Bring it on, baby," because they thought there'd be a great impact here. Then they discovered that there'd be $200 million a year security and businesses in the area and so forth had no desire for it, and then the big reason: The Kennedy seat was lost, and Chuck-U Schumer said, "I ain't losing my seat. Move the trial," and he had Bloomberg do it. So the White House is now looking for a new place to put their show trial.
BREAK TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: The place for the trial of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed: Washington, DC. Put it in Washington, DC, ladies and gentlemen. New York City is out. Washington. That's the place. Eric Holder and Obama could drive by the circus show trial every day, take credit for their handiwork, and stimulate spending with $200 million a year in security costs for Washington, DC. (claps) Yeah, baby! That's where you put it. <<<<< Snip
