I think your wrong about the part of the president making a major difference as to the effectiveness. But even if your right that's irrelevant to my point.

More than a little deja vu here, Tim. I was responding, not to your point, but to your obvious disagreement with Benen's point. Which was about much more than the sheer quantity of regulations. His point wwas about the effectiveness, the commitment to the point of the regulatory agency, and budget allocations. All of which had been not only downplayed during GWB's administration but deliberately undermined. Check the various books on the administration.
