Wow, keep your pants on Hawk. That was not the question. Look at your contradiction in you statement. How could partitioning be a uniter?

How could you not understand that in every instance where an Arab country was created, it represented a unification of the diverse interests and rivalries present in that territory? It may, or may not have, been a peaceful unification, but that's irrelevant when it comes to who's ruling within those boundaries.

Whereas, previously most of these countries on the Arabian peninsula consisted of nomadic bedouins. They raided and robbed one another, fought over water rights, and all fought to rule over the other.

Did they pay for it? They payed for it with treasure and blood.

The "treasure" came from the oil profits derived from the vast oil deposits those US/UK companies discovered. It certainly was not developed internally.

The west did not only exploit the resource but also the people.

There would have been nothing to exploit had those companies not took the investment risk in prospecting for that oil. The rulers of that country TOOK NO RISKS and derived a FREE SHARE of the profits (50/50 in the case of Saudi Arabia).

They are better off than before.

ROTFLMFAO!!!! They just devalued their currency by 1/2!!!! That means, OVERNIGHT, all the savings of those Venezuelans was reduced by 50%. And for poor people, all of their basic staples just went up in price by 50% due to lower purchasing power.
