Insiders are "value investors" by definition. I suspect that insider buying will not be in one fell swoop/block which would drive up the price for themselves in a very short period of time.

IF there is insider buying, I would not be surprised to see Insiders accumulate over several days/weeks then it somehow becomes "public" 3-4 weeks from now by what is known as a Form 4 ( as opposed to filing a 144 sale )which is probably not reported on a service like Edgar..I am only speculating <g>.

PS - message to srvhap..I find that your bearish/negative posting has become an excellent contrarian indicator for me..the timing of your posts on Amati ( AMTX ) usually precedes significant positive events/news on AMTX <g>. I have observed all the doomsayers/shorts on AMTX over the past 7-8 months predicting dire consequences on AMTX ( others getting contracts before Amati, Amati's DMT patent worthless/irrelevent, huge cash burn, no cash, etc.. etc..)..If those very same naysayers really put their money where their mouths were, then they obviously missed the great ride from 7 to 19, the buying opportunity last week at 10 3/4 and the recent recovery to $17 ( a 58% return in 1 week! ). This does not mean I am recommending AMTX or predicting who will win the battle within xDSL or XDSL vs Cable.

PPS- did anyone see the re-statement of revenues/earnings today by S3?
Looks like there have been many high flyers ( PCTL, IFMX, SIII ) who have recognized shipments to resellers/distributors as revenues, only to get burned later ( Could ASND be next??? ).
