CHKR.... Sandra: Checkers makes one of the best tasting hamburgers... It faces stiff competition from McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, KFC, and various pizza chains... Margins must be very thin because of the price wars.... Perhaps the dining room idea will help set them apart... They need a niche... As for the chart... There has been a bottoming pattern for most of the year... Perhaps the appointment of Gillespie to run both Checkers and Rally's might give them the muscle they need... jim
