Ok, I could see that. My dad says that the GOP is making noise about the SS privatization again -- this would be a ruse to cut benefits by 1/3 right away (for those under a certain age), but the main thrust I now believe is to pave the way for confiscation of IRA, 401k, 403b and other pensions. This will swell the available money to be distributed as corporate welfare. The 'hook' for the shallow pated will be that WE know better how to invest our money that those paternalistic liberal democrat scum sucking pigs, and so people will eventually fight for the right to be robbed. Thank goodness companies can now spent a billion dollars or more, each, as needed to get the votes they need. It will be "just business."
