BS, this was NOT expected by the analysts who had all modeled it based on $8.5K/yr/patient.

And this from your very recent post:

"I am guessing the price with be >= $9000 per year."

And, please don't say there was a 'greater than' sign, as that goes all the way to infinity.

Your guess was higher than the analysts by $500/year/patient.

Actual announced pricing is 42% higher/yr/patient than your guess, and more than 50% higher than what the analyst. And you say, that was expected! Hello!

Run the cash flows and NPV on your spreadsheet like the JP Morgan guy. I had this kind of scenario in mine before he posted his report. This is not to beat my chest, but I get tired of people who say a lot of words without running detailed numbers and NPV. That is all.

I'm sorry but I had high regard for your posts from another stock board on SI, but going back and reviewing all your posts on ACOR it seems to me (which is probably wrong but my take nevertheless) that you are primarily a big picture qualititaive, Harvard type guy that talks to people and gets their takes. Not in depth, math oriented hard core analysis.

I am not right all the time, but I do prefer to do my own detailed analysis and run my numbers from the bottom up. I do take others data points but believe in doing the detailed math homework myself. I have run large billion $ businesses and this approach has always worked for me in our country which, generally and relatively speaking, is woeful at math.
