Sheri: a couple of points/mistakes The Classic Series will be played on December 1-3, a Monday through Wednesday. This is the time permitted for non-PGA Tour events that permit PGA players to earn appearance fees. This will not coincide with the JC Penny Classic I believe. To compare a tournament with a 480k budget that you concede does not have the top name PGA players to a tournament focusing exclusively on tournament CHAMPIONS is a very unfair comparison. I know we haven't seen who they are yet, but if delivered as promised, they will put this tourney into a whole different class than the tournament you reference. Without the name players, you lose tremendous revenue on tv rights and sponsors. A similar tournament to the one envisioned here grossed $6.5 Million in Oregon. $2 Million is very, very doable.
