Yes, to buy low on the Singapore market is the only reason it could be besides revenge.

Since they have been selling constantly from CREAF at <$10 and for over a year, it seems unlikely that the relative decline of the Singapore dollar is the reason. I remember it having been posted that one of the owners is because of some revenge/dislike but the other is not. I assume the basis of the former owners is <$1 anyway so they probably don't care too much what they are getting for thier shares.
