Ken, agreed TARP I was under Bush but II was under Obama. Banks are repaying the funds that Dems forced on them. The funds that have been repaid were to have reduced the deficit and instead the Dems are now considering using that money for another stimulus program!! What happened to the plan to restore the money the banks repaid to where it was borrowed by the gov in the first place?

Example: Your son needs a great deal of money for an emergency..you mortgage your house and lend him the funds. Later he's able to repay you and the logical thing for you to do would be pay off the mortgage on your home that you negotiated to help him. But instead you use his repayment on wine, women & song or a trip around the world. Very foolish yet that's what Dems are considering...hope they continue to forge ahead into the political abyss.

The reason banks are not lending money is due to lack of demand by borrowers, esp. small businesses which are scared to expand because of all the uncertainty Obama has created. His Stimulus program didn't do much stimulating other than putting our children in deep debt.
