Even if true, it's not affordable.

How much is the blood of your children worth?

Every major war that this country has fought in, WWI and WWII, likely could have been prevented with a forceful collective stance in the pre-war years.

We certainly have no excuse for not preventing WWII by standing up to Hitler. The cost of doing so would have been far cheaper than the cost we ultimately paid, both in blood and treasure, to wage that conflict.

Ounce of prevention is better than the pound of cure.

The price we pay now will likely be far cheaper than 10-20 years from now when your children/grandchildren are forced to clean up the mess you were too frightened to deal with today.
