I can remember back in the eighth grade our little class newspaper had a column in which all of my classmates cited their pet peeves. I still remember mine: HYPOCRITES.

I've always hated people who say one thing and do another, or tell people to behave a certain way and behave the opposite themselves. It doesn't matter to me whether the hypocrisy is on the left or right: It's still just as objectionable.

What I'm seeing these days is that any hypocrites on the right are found out and shunned, at least to a certain extent. Nobody condones that Republican Governor's Argentinian ventures, or Larry Craig's airport restroom activities.

Hypocrites on the left are excused by other left wingers. Bill Clinton, Obama, Holder, Barney Frank, Jesse Jackson, Ted Kennedy, the whole nine yards. They all get off with a pat on the back.

It's intolerable. I'm glad Sarah Palin is calling their bluff.
