Vignettes of the Snow of 2010 in Northern Virginia community near D.C. 1. At midnight February 6th, a neighbor with his snowblower blowing snow from sidewalks-----yes at midnight----(I thought how nice, and this neighbor had a heart attack about 3 years ago) 2. At 2 a.m. February 7th, blinding snow pouring from the skies-------snowplow comes through once----thank you VDOT 3. At 9 a.m. February 7th, more snowblowers working 4. At 10 a.m. snowblower goes kaput 5. At 10 a.m.dogwood tree bowing to ground 6. At 10:30a.m. MJ saves dogwood with telescoping handle stick knocking snow off of dogwood-----dogwood not laden with snow----hope it will survive the storm 7. At 10:30 a.m. snow still coming down 8. At 11 a.m.---------mailboxes have snow to just below the box 9. At 11:30 a.m. decorative street light covered to just below glass-light 10. Snow blowers giving way to shovels 11. Read SI and learn that Obama and his appointees are criticizing the Pope-------this shows real ignorance at the White House Executive level of government. Time to detoxify from this ignorance and have a good cup of coffee.
