If Americans are as whiny and demanding as you say, then it's hopeless. Which is pretty much what I have thought all along.

I'm not sure why you like insurers rationing your health care more than the government, but whatever. I prefer the government and no paperwork.

You will never have the choice of what gets rationed- you will only be able to choose who does the rationing. Whatever floats your boat, though.

I have figured for a long time that America is just a broken country. But it's a nice big broken country, and I live in an enclave I like. I predict that America will solve none of its problems- democrat and republicans both being too craven to step up and do anything that would really work- and their are solutions to the left AND right that would work, but they would all end up being rather painful to someone, so we won't do those things.
