Without trade relationship with US how will China do well? Are China's world trade relationships as deep and widespread as anglo-european-american-japan-korea-israel-australia-canada combination? What about China's diplomatic relationships? Do they rival Britain and US at their peak?

Military and manufacturing power means little without trade and diplomatic relationships.
