Probably they didn't mention the pixel count because it was not high enough to impress anyone. Their own 300dpi (0.084mm) monochrome display from a few years ago is still impressive, but they haven't chosen to manufacture and sell it.

In their 19" (482mm) announcement, they mention applications such as medical imaging. That would imply 2000x2000 pixels or better, but they didn't say so. Their silence makes me think that it was 1280x1024 or less. Asian manufacturers have already shown 1600x1200 in the 19" range, so anything less is not big news.

Of course this is all second-guessing. Maybe their display is 2000x3000, but their 'marketing' folks thought that sounded too technical....
