..and we'd be in the worst depression in world history right now. You're failing to grasp that the world runs on credit, and credit was frozen. The Wall Street IB's had tenacles EVERYWHERE. Had they failed, no ships would have sailed, no trucks would have rolled - everything would have STOPPED.
