vincent- thanks. im a big fan of pixr, after spending alot of time, several years ago, hunched over my mac, trying to write shaders with a text editor, armed with only the "bible" and some siggraph papers. write, compile, render (wait), look, and start again. i think i had too much time on my hands then... regards, kris
