Now you are implying that there were somehow not 6 innocent lives that were taken when she had the 6 abortions The lady involved had some severe mental problems. She went to see her Birth Mother and found her institutionalized. She also discovered a number 12 or 14 brothers and sisters 9 or 10 of whom were living on disability pension. She had had one or two abortions and asked to have her tubes tied, prior to discovering her biological history, and had the first ones because of her own experience being exposed to the tender mercies of the Children's aid. Since tubal Ligation was denied her, and diagnosis of her problem took a number of years. Her children would have been living in a nightmare, a nightmare she lived through, and she made an informed decision, not to give birth... She would often in her youth drink and do drugs and leave the house in a long coat and service any man who was interested in a nearby park. Were those lives innocent, yes they were. BUT had her experiences in the Children's Aid been good ones she might have made another decision. Had she not thought that her own drinking and drug taking increased the children's chances of a terrible life, she might have made another decision. But for her, I think it was the right decision. Now in case you are wondering, she was brought up in an extremely well off family and was by adoption a cousin of one of Canada's Governor Generals.... Today under newer medication she lives a relatively normal life. And her Husband is a preacher strangely enough.
