will you name any part of the lower 48 that isn't true of? Is there anywhere in NA, you'd want nuclear waste stored permanently?

That's the problem with nukes Brumar. You complain about the waste products of making PV's, wind turbines et al but the nuke waste issue is millions of times more dangerous.

If you spent a small fortune then nukes could work but you have to monitor this stuff forever and when you add that cost in it just doesn't pencil out.

Renewables win hands down anyway you look at the problem.
