The problem was never fresh air. It was the poor choices the electorate made in electing their representatives. Blame the people, the state of our congress is our own fault.
The problem for many years now, was the voters unwillingness to vote in people of intellectual substance and moral authority to run our country.
We live in a democracy and are responsible for the people we vote in. We have made some terrible choices. If we vote in people who are intellectually weak, or morally bankrupt, then what can we expect?
We should not want our leaders to be C students, fomenting fear to gain power, and in bed with corporate America. That takes us back to the early 1900's when the rich ran the country and the working man was treated like a dog, or worse.
We should want our leaders to be at the top of the class, honest, and exhibit rational behavior, honesty and compassion.
>>To provide some Fresh air on the good things about American Politics, this piece properly defines its most important movement. For them that insist on mischaracterizing this movement, let me assure you that the largest voting block of the American Electorate is fixed to this position. Our numbers constitute the party of the Non Voting Majority, these are the members of this society who have routinely witheld their vote from the duoopoly of ignoble largesse.
Teaparty is organized at the individual level, any group of people may constitute a Tea Party meeting. Any person may go to several Tea Parties or choose to go to no Tea parties, and still support the Tea Party movement.>> |
