IN Magovern people had the philosopher king. Wrong ? Well look back at whichever party you have had in power (and I understand that their spots have changed in 200 years :O) and look at US foreign policy throughout.. fairly consistent in the grand scheme ... at any rate let us watch Mr. Obama. Would you rate him as a voice of hope ? Did the people make the right choice... if so why is the system still floundering (Of course you make think Mr. O was teh wrong choice :O)..How about the process of getting important legislation passed regardless of president.. without myriad earmarks.. often rendering it terribly different.. are all the elected officials today starting out as vile ? If so then I am still correct... I really think it's far more than the electorate's choices at this point.. the system has been subverted.. We'll just have to disagree on this point and as Tj is wont to say.. Let us watch and brief.. and I sincerely hope I am wrong... for all of our sakes.. Hoping Olivia Butler's Parable of the Talents turns out to have no predictive value :o) TBS
