When you say that the prices will go up, are you assuming that they will pay more for the same product they now buy? What makes you think that? If they choose to buy less, how would that be a net benefit to us? The drug companies would have to raise prices across the board if they lost the US subsidy. Or the drug companies could choose to go out of business. I doubt the shareholders would like that. Or the Euro's could choose not to take drugs I suppose. I doubt that will happen.
