Or they, at the very least, may be forced to cut their R&D.

If that will happen, I would hope that they would, at least, focus on new antibiotics and anti-virals. We can get by, imo, for a while, with our current statins and beta blockers and NSAID's. Falling behind the curve with infections could prove to be terrible.
