I failed to notice the tea leaves when Paul Jacobs and other executives sold their shares at around $ 48/share. When Q stock was reaching at high 40's the volumes were not there to accompany the rise in the stock price. No sophisticated technical analysis is needed to notice the behavior of the market. Rising stock price without accumulation indicates that the price is not sustainable. Conversely, the significant drop of about 16% in one day coupled with extremely heavy volume showed a distribution, hence, there was heavy pressure on the stock. I have to admit that I was asleep at the wheel.

What frustrated shareholders is that top management remained silent during the last ten days. Ben Scrowcroft told PJ when he took over as CEO: "Don't screw it up!".
