There is no way possible for a profit incentive to make the system more efficient. Why not, it makes most other things more efficient. You can spin it all you want but profit is anything that takes away from providing health care. Hardly. All sorts of waste, inefficiency, and misguided plans take away from both profit and from providing health care benefits.
