IOM=ZIP...am I the only one?
OK guys, I may be very narrow minded, blah, blah, but honestly, SparQ, etc, I DON'T CARE! I'm in this stock for the Zip and the Zip only. We are witnesing the takeover by IOM of the next standard in removable storage for personal computers...the Zip. With 9 million drives out there, the game hasn't even started! If this company delivers on this and nothing more, Jaz is discontinued, n.hand never appears, Dittos are banned by the FDA, Buz collapses,etc, etc... If this company manages to make this Zip the next standard, perhaps giving up a piece of the pie to the big boys just so they don't get nasty, THAT'S IT.
I certainly don't have a good chunk of my money in this co due to the Jaz. For me it's just icing on the cake.
If 30-50% of computers shipped have a Zip drive built-in 3 years from now, you will be extremelly happy you put your money in IOM.
By the way, I'm posting from the UK, for those wondering if I have a life posting at 6AM EST. |
