That's not what happens.

Not in the US military contracts, or most other current US government, or probably foreign government contracts. But it, or something close to it, is what happens on many drug sales to foreign countries governments. They force down the price.

If the US government is going to treat it the same as say a US military contract, than my worry might not be realized, but the cost savings might not be either. Have you seen what the US military pays for some things?
