Are you also an idiot? You can find out how he did by looking it up on Google. I'll give you a hint. He attended Columbia and Harvard. He was President of Harvard Law Review, which is a merit role. He also graduated from Harvard Magna Cum Laude.

According to Harvard's web page, to earn Magna Cum Laude, the following is required:
law.harvard.edu
4. The summa cum laude will be awarded to the top one percent of the class according to the Latin honors calculation in I.M.3.
5. The magna cum laude will be awarded to the next ten percent of the class according to the Latin honors calculation in I.M.3.

As such, Obama graduated in the top 10% of his law school. By any reasonable person's definition, Obama excelled.

Only horribly biased and racist people would talk about affirmative action in relation to Obama and claim he got where he was because of it, and not on his own merits.
