OK the getting it back in this case isn't directly to the people it was taken from, but as long as these projects help the communities that receive them, (admittedly an uncertain point), then at least some benefit goes back to the people the money was taken from. If Bond is also a big complainer about the deficit than it would be reasonable for you to ask why he doesn't just let the funds go to reduce the deficit, but I don't think that's a realistic option in this case, since the administration and congress pretty much have already decided to spend this money, the only question is where an how it gets sent.

Also I seem to remember you criticizing politicians who spoke against taking the stimulus money, and in some cases didn't take it. Make up your mind, which is the sin? Taking the money or not taking it? Pick one and apply it consistently please.
