Now tell me why you think I'm referring to everyone who's out looking for a job. Come to think of it, if an unemployed person is looking for a job, that means he or she isn't looking for a freebie

Look Ayn Rand......the official unemployment rate is 10%; the unofficial rate closer to 20%; hiring is skimpy to non existent. Not surprisingly, some people have given up.......rejection when it happens repeatedly over months is a hard pill to take. Some are committing suicide; others turning to a life of crime; still others have moved....to the streets. You....in your middle class smugness have no idea idea what life can be like at those levels. And please don't tell me about how your immigrant parents raised themselves up from the their bootstraps. I am in no mood for another Republican horatio alger story/myth. I got enough of them growing up in this country.
