Ted, I grew up in Maryland, but very close to Northern Virginia.

Other than the roads that are named after Confederate heroes, such as "Lee Highway" or "Jefferson Davis Highway," Northern Virginia is about as blue and liberal as you can get.

Richmond, on the other hand, is deep deep South.
