Jeffery, calm down my man. Maybe we should get tee it up soon and take out some of that angst on the little white ball. As much as we are pissed at the drop, just think of the problem internally within Qualcomm in terms of employee morale. Many of these people rely on the stock price as part of their yearly compensation. And, I am not talking about upper management. Believe me if Qualcomm can correct the situation, they will do so.

As much as we don't like the circumstances, I don't know what Qualcomm could have done to prevent it. They certainly couldn't avoid revising revenue and they tried to cover that by keeping earnings as previously guided. Even if Qualcomm could have predicted lower ASP's due to increased quantities of low end phones they would have had to make that known a quarter ago and we would have had the same result.

I am at a lost as to where to put blame. Jacobs being present would not have changed the result. I guess it is what it is and the market has grossly overreacted.
