"Politics of Energy" thread.

My boss came back to TX from Calgary a couple years ago because it was going to take him 6 months to get an MRI for a back problem he had.

I had two friends who live in Vancouver, B.C. who just last month had surgery, including MRI's. They got their MRI's after only 24 hrs. I know the Calgary area of Alberta well as I've been there many times in the last twenty years so I don't know what your bosses problem was.

Another coworker just returned from overseas after having a health emergency in Kazakhstan and having to go in a hospital there.

My god... that is the slumdog area of asia. Those folks are really poor so those that do work in the oil fields are really rich.

I work with and have worked for years with Nigerians, people from Chad, Angola, Liberia, Russia, Venezuela, Scotland, Australia, Malaysia, and a bunch of other places and have never heard a single bitch about America's "crappy" health care system.

I have a friend down in Australia who "loves" his healthcare system and brags about it compared to ours.

You must be very, very rich because in our system of this country... money buys the best.
