Yes, the ignorance on this board is extreme. Did you know that this year, global average temperatures were again extremely high compared to the 100 year average? Listening to these threads, you'd think that wouldn't be possible. But it is. While we're getting extreme snow weather, Vancouver and Brazil are getting very toasty weather.

That's why they call it GLOBAL warming. Actually, one of the most accurate articles I read on global warming was that it is probably more accurate to call it global weirding, because what is happening is that the trend is of course warming the planet, but the VARIABILITY in weather patterns and temperatures is also increasing. That means we will see an increasing amount of extreme weather, both cold and hot.

That is exactly what is happening now. But for Texans, it's snowing in Dallas and that is irrefutable truth to them that global warming isn't happening. I think someone needs to slap the Texas Board of Education on the head and get them to stop trying to get Creationism inserted in the curriculum and get more science and statistics classes inserted instead. They clearly need to learn more.
