If we had privatized Social Security during GWB's presidency, we'd really be in a hole now. How many people would have sold in a panic when the market tanked last winter? The market would have tanked even further and millions of seniors would be without retirement income.

The problem is what are the Democrats doing to make us more financially secure? They sure aren't taking risk out of the financial system via any concerted legislative effort. They are fumbling on this issue, much like medical reform.
