so, okay. my thoughts before i lose them or
am influenced by others ...

after the fracturing of the canadian anthem,
it was good. i liked it - made me a little
tearie and i thought, yes, this is very
canadian. then came k.d. lang and i thought
yesssssssss! THAT should become our national
anthem. it was great and the tribute to the
georgian athlete who died was very moving.

what followed was also very canadian.
the lighting of the torch. in the end, i
just had to laugh. what? did we run out of
money?

oh well, what can i say?

let the games begin :)
