Dancing With the Stars: Changes and Lots of Rumors

By Lynn on The Bachelor

Pamela Anderson [barf!]

As we wait for the next new season of Dancing With the Stars to begin, the rumors about who the next group of stars will be are everywhere. Here are some of the more popular rumored celebrities:

* John Stamos
* Kevin Federline (he's lost a lot of weight on Celebrity Fit Club, so why not?)
* Leonardo DiCaprio's wife Brooklyn Decker
* Pamela Anderson
* Olympic diver, Greg Louganis
* Kate Gosselin
* And the list continues to grow…

Another thing that's new this season is that the identities of the new celebrities for the show will be announced on the season finale of The Bachelor. Darn! Now I have to watch that show. :-(

I was disappointed with the news that the co-host for DWTS, Samantha Harris decided to step down. It's just the season for judges and hosts leaving big reality series, I guess. So, naturally, there are also rumors about who will replace Samantha.

One rumor is that Nancy O'Dell, who never actually got to dance on the season she began because of a knee injury, has been rumored to be the new co-host. She's got tons of hosting experience, so she could be a great choice.

The other rumored co-host is Ashlan Gorse, from E! News. I guess we'll have to wait to find out who it will be. I still like Drew Lachey for the job. I wonder if he's in consideration.

BuddyTV reports that judge Carrie Ann Inaba said this about the job:

"When those dancers come off the dance floor and if they got a bad score, they're not in a good mood," she says. "Those ballroom dancers are not as easy to handle as people might think. We need somebody who can be uplifting, but they also have to be strong and tough."

It's all going to be very interesting and I hope the new season will be fantastic. I'll keep you posted on the latest news. The new season of Dancing With the Stars premieres on ABC on Monday, March 22.
