You report that Japanese are enthusiasts for education of their children. I'm sorry, genuinely sorry to say that that is wrong. First, Japanese are not enthusiasts for the education of their daughters since no kind of decent job awaits women in Japanese society. Second, for males, it's the degree that counts not the education. Boys, straining for good marks in high school, can finally relax when they enter university. University life in Japan is mainly socializing, athletic clubs etc. According to my personal contacts among Chinese people, you should replace "Japanese" by "Chinese". Your statement about Swedes and Danes is 100% correct. SOT
