I have also read that there are about 16% die hard Google customers in China. They are disappointed with Google for their decision to pull out.

In this dispute between Google and the Chinese Govt., I think BIDU has everything to gain. The search technology, I think has become a mature technology and the next tech frontier is the iPad technology. It remains to be seen how Steve Jobs intends to revolutionize our lifestyles with the iPad technology. The iPad is strategically poised to derive maximum benefit from all the mature techs including the search tech.
