I subscribe to a news letter (Northwest Invester). They have a web site

nwinvester.com

The current issue talks about Northwest stocks that dropped on October 22nd. EXPD is singled out as one that might be a bargain.

I checked yahoo, and they have next year earnings estimates at $1.57.
First Call has next year estimates of $1.59. If these numbers are correct, then the current price and P/E might be plenty high, even at the current discounted price. Historically, this company has done much better than the 24% gain that both yahoo and first call are estimating. I think that a lot of analysts think that the currency problem in Asia will adversely affect earnings.

I think that if anything, it might increase imports for this company.
Any one have an opinion on this? I am not in the freight or exporting business myself. If the analyst estimates are too low, this could very well be a buying opportunity.
Thanks
Karl
