Greece sounds a hell of a lot like Illinois.

I read somewhere, can't remember just where (as I type), an article that said something like that. Greece is to euro land as several states are to the US government. The listed states were California, New York, and something else. Perhaps Illinois.

Surprised they didn't throw NJ into that mix.
