What is so interesting about Robert Gibbs’s insistence that the Iraq War is one of the Obami’s greatest achievements is the new-found incredulity of the Washington press corps. The reporter asks, “Given that the Vice President was in favor of a partial partition of the country and the President opposed the surge that helped stabilize it, how is that one of the President’s great achievements?” and then follows up, “But the Status of Forces Agreement to bring troops home was signed before the President took office.” It’s almost as if the romance is over. commentarymagazine.com Ha. What they're claiming as the Obama administrations greatest achievement is a Bush achievement .... over the opposition of Obama and Biden. Iraq's a success .... can't be disputed now that Obama's trying to steal the credit for it .... but its a success because Obama and Biden's bad ideas were rejected.
