Thanks RM. It is true that additional withdrawals from my RRIF would all be at marginal tax rates. Sufficient reason for pause. I agree.

You are certainly correct in emphasis on the long run (compounding), but you are also correct that as you age the long run gets shorter and the benefit of less consequence.
