Thank you for your observations on Taleb. They are very interesting and I hope you will make more of them as you progress through the book. I will be particularly interested in your reaction to his "barbell" investment strategy ! Most of funds "safe" but "go for it" with a small percentage. Also his attitude of greater apprehension of blue chip investment and the careless abandon to the more risky speculation (controlled risk through controlled size, I think he meant)). I didn't get the idea that he was critical of "Plato" , but of platonic thinking today. Anyway, I never tire of opening the book at random and reading anew. (try it, instead of wading through page by page).
