It's under attack because Democrats need to keep people in the dark. Why would the democrats want to keep people in the dark if, as even you admit, the plan will not be popular on its merits? If anything the dems would want the facts to surface. In fact I wish the dems had done a better job of educating people...it's been the reps who've been masters of deception in this fight. And the truth is I have not heard many if any dems attack Ryan's plan at all. It's another right wing martyrdom story...bunch of whiners, you included. Al
